ML Kirchner is an internationally recognized photographer who specializes in capturing the majesty of the mundane.  Her iconic images — recognizable by her command of light and composition, and her fascination with strong shapes and lines — evoke strong emotions which linger with the viewer.

Her street portraits immortalize the dignity of the marginalized, often portraying characters within the context of a larger narrative.  Her still-lifes and landscapes, highlight the beauty of the obscure within the geometry of space, challenging the viewer to reevaluate their existing notions of what merits recognition as beautiful.  Through these subjects and others, Kirchner’s compelling photographs are her comments  on, and dialogue with, the world as she sees it.

ML Kirchner’s photographs, printed in limited series of no more than eight are in collections in the USA, Central America, Europe and Canada.
